About This Site
The Poo Monologues began with a joke text message, sent in March of 2008, from Parker to Tim. The premise of that first message was simple: “I’m going number two, and here’s a funny way of saying that.”
A sure-fire way to both refine literary creativity and maximize time management, it didn’t take long for the practice to become a favored past-time for Parker, Tim and their buddies.
The Monologues became a featured segment on Turnip Soup – a comedic podcast hosted and produced by some of the original Monologue authors. The segment rapidly became one of the most popular among listeners, and is still featured almost every week on the show.
Now, The Poo Monologues have become a means by which friends come together…during a time when friendship is typically discouraged. As the number of contributors grows, the Poo Monologues continue to help the internet (and the world) open its eyes, and its cell phones, while sitting on the throne. The Monologues are bringing peace, where before there were only pieces. This is awesome.
